Say Goodbye to Mosquito ProblemsSugar Land, TX mosquito control systems

Florida Mosquito Systems can help if you need a new mosquito prevention service. We’re also available if you need maintenance for an existing system we’ve installed for you. Feel free to schedule system checks monthly, bi-monthly, or whenever you need them. We’ll help create a maintenance plan that works best for you and fits around your schedule. During one of our maintenance visits, our technicians will inspect all the individual parts of your misting system. The team will check your drum and refill it with our concentrate as necessary. We’ll also check to ensure that the filter is working correctly. High temperatures and stagnant mixtures inside the drum can create bacteria, compromising the insecticide and clogging the filter. If this happens, the insecticide mix will have trouble coming out of the spray and nozzle. It’s normal for some of the active ingredients in the insecticide to either stay at the bottom or float to the top of the suspension, so our regular visits can ensure that the parts of the mixture stay evenly distributed. Your systems should always run at maximum efficiency to keep you safe, so be sure to contact us immediately if you feel something isn’t working correctly.

What We Check During Maintenance

When we visit your home for a routine maintenance check, we’ll inspect the following parts of your system: mist systems, usage levels, and each nozzle’s condition. Our goal is to keep your systems working correctly and efficiently to protect your home for a long time. By increasing its usage capacity, your system will last much longer, defending your property from pesky mosquitoes. No one wants these troublesome pests hanging around, which is why we work hard to keep them away from your home.

During our visit, we can also adjust the length of the mist from your mosquito system. However, we can walk you through the process over the phone anytime if you’d like to perform this adjustment yourself. Please remember that regular diagnostic checks of your system are integral to preventing mosquito infestations and, subsequently, the spread of their harmful pathogens.

Because mosquitoes can introduce dangerous elements into your bloodstream and jeopardize your health, it’s better to prevent their arrival and spread. Whether they’re eggs, larvae, or full-grown adults, our insecticide mix will effectively destroy a mosquito infestation and keep new ones from forming. Our incredible misting systems can potentially stop you from developing a severe disease borne by mosquitoes. You and your family can go back to enjoying your outdoor spaces in peace without the threat of these harmful bugs.

The Dangers of Mosquitoes

The mosquito is a fascinating, if insidious, creature. There are an estimated 3,500 species of mosquitoes in existence at this time. In Spanish, ” mosquito ” means “little fly.” The effect of these flies is far from “little,” however. Mosquitoes lay clutches of about 100 to 200 eggs on the water’s surface, typically in standing water. The eggs hatch into larvae that feed on aquatic algae until they mature into adults. When they become adults, they begin feeding on blood.

Did you know that mosquitoes are responsible for transmitting more diseases than any other animal species? This sneaky subgroup of small insects can ingest pathogens when feeding on its hosts, which in turn can develop into horrible diseases such as malaria, West Nile virus, Zika, or Chikungunya. These are then transmitted to other creatures through their saliva when a mosquito bites its victim. Not only can the host develop a rash at the site of the bite, but disease can easily transfer into their bloodstream.

As such, mosquitoes prove to be effective vectors of diseases. Our goal at Florida Mosquito Systems is to keep you and your loved ones safe from these blood-borne pathogens. We want to protect your property from the scourge of annoying and dangerous mosquitoes. Your health and safety are a priority to us, which is why we sell these misting systems to our clients. Whether you own a home or commercial property, our misting systems can protect your visitors from the harmful viruses that mosquitoes carry.
